Raspberry Knockout Cake!
Well, I had to post a picture of this. My son, now 14, is totally fixated on professional "wrestling" (He has Aspergers. It cycles about every 1.5 years, he shifts to something else.) Anyways, I made him this cake. It is the Raspberry Blackout Cake from Vegan with a Vengeance, with a few wrestlers on top. It's nothing fancy. He was so anxious to get it assembled that he wouldn't let me make it "pretty". It sort of looks like they are wrestling in mud.

I think it turned out great! My brother would have done back-flips for a cake like this when he was a kid.
Love the cake. Happy 14 to your son. My son has Aspergers also, he's 18.

Reminds me of rock-em sock-em robots!

That looks too cute! Great job!
My classroom is all Kindergartners with Autism/Aspergers... I can so relate to the whole "obsession" thing... but we have a good time and I love my kiddos dearly.
The cake is REALLY cool by the way!
Hey! Mostly I wanted to say I just made your Peppermint Patties from December and posted pix and rave reviews at my blog... OMG They turned out AMAZING!
That is really cool!
Wow, that cake is nothing short of AWESOME! Happy b'day to your son (belated)...

Awww...that cake is so cool! Great job, and so creative too!
That is hysterical. The cake looks lovely, but I have to say, I have a sneaking feeling that my husband would like the wrestlers. Ah well. You know what they say about men (more expsnive toys and all). Cheers!
That cake is bad-ass. Don't ask how I found you (like you couldn't guess). Congratulations on blowing my Spankees out of the water. Friggin heck they are awful.
Holler atchya boy.
